Finally, an end to Shop Hop!  It was a lot of fun and very successful but boy am I tired.  Winners have been selected and notified and I will post a complete list of names as soon as I get them.  If you haven't received a call I guess you haven't won this time.  We have already started planning the May 2010 Shop Hop, so maybe then you will be a winner.

Mountain View Beanfest is in full swing, and although it has rained all day, I think by 5pm the sun had finally come out.  Come by tomorrow, Saturday, and have some beans and cornbread on me.  Don't forget the EHC Quilt Show at the Ozark Folk Center!

Next week I will be at Mt. Eagle with the Clinton Piecemakers and on Wednesday and Thurday teaching workshops for the State Extension Homemakers at the Ozark Folk Center here in Mountain View.  You can catch me in the shop on Friday.

Arkansas Crossroads Shop Hop

The shop hop kicked off Friday with a bang!  Jan Savu worked the shop with me Friday and we were so busy we didn't even have time for our lunch.  Once again I am so glad to see much participation and what fun everyone is having.  Remember, there is still time to hit all 13 shops, you have until October 24th,  and be eligible to enter the drawing for one of 28 prizes.  Plus, If you can't get to all the shops, you might win a door prize from one of the shops.  I'm giving away an Ott Lite with magnafier.

"You Make the Fabric Handbag" Class slated for November 20th.  Register soon, limited availabilty.

Mark your calendars for Mountain View  Beanfest 2009, October 29th 30th and 31st.  The local Extension Homemakers will have a quilt show during that time at the Ozark Folk Center Administration building.
